'Homegrown Lace' (initially drawn in pen in December 2018 and then redrawn digitally - May 2020) by Contemporary New Zealand Artist Anna Mollekin. This artwork depicts a stylised Tui with lace-inspired patterns amongst ferns. This artwork was initially drawn in pen and then redrawn digitally, and the artist digitally signed it.
 
"My love of New Zealand inspired this bird art. I wanted to celebrate our country and its beautiful flora and fauna. New Zealand is the fabric of my being. The lace also reflects the delicate and intertwined connection between the native New Zealand birds and their habitat. Creating artwork NZ themed in close to my heart."
